Apple Slicer

Love this slicer/corer. Slices are just right for eating and it's easy to clean! I have both sizes and they fit the bill!

I prefer the skinnier slices that this device creates, but it takes a lot of force to cut through the apple. I find it easiest to first press the slicer slightly into the apple and then give it a hard pounding on the countertop to force the blades to go through. You then flip the base piece under the apple and press it to finish pushing the slices all the way through. This slicer creates twice as many portions, which is nice when you’re preparing a fruit tray.

This makes the perfect thin slices and is easy to use the base helps push out the slices so no more half cut apples

I don't know where this has been all of my life but you had me at SIXTEEN SLICES!!! It works perfectly and it's heavy duty and easy to use all while not being too heavy! The slices are the perfect size and I absolutely love it. It's really well made I expect I'll have it forever.

Yes, I can use a knife to slice apples, but this does it so much faster.There are a few things to keep in mind when using this. Although it’s quite large, you do need to pay attention to the size of the apples when you’re shopping to make sure they’re not too big. Also, look for apples that aren’t lopsided. They won’t cut as nicely. When cutting, the big sturdy handles give it a solid grip. At first I wasn’t sure about the bottom plate, but it’s there to make it easier to cut all the way through the apple. Don’t get an apple slicer without it.Overall, I’m very happy with this slicer. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and a good value for the money.
