Keep Your Plants Happy & Hydrated - Even When You're Away

These are amazing! Super simple and easy to fill up. I was a little nervous after reading some other comments, but as long as you have the water on low, and hold the container at a slight angle, it fills up so fast. The smaller ones I dunked into a bowl of water and that worked just as well too! None arrived broken, and after a few weeks of use, they’re still great! The sun coming through them too hasn’t caused any hot spots or burns. After watering the plants really well and then putting these in to the pots/raised beds, they lasted around 5 days while I was out of town. Since then we’ve had a few 90° days with direct sun and the water empties within 1-2 days. Still does a fantastic job getting the water down to the roots though! I just wish the water would hold a bit longer on the sunny days, but I understand that the heat evaporates the water too.
Great item with various sizes for plants. Plastic
These help keep my plants alive.
As long as you are using these in the shade or indoors, these work very well. There is a warning in the instructions that using these in direct sunlight can cause a fire to start. Also, be sure you have gauze as the instructions state that you need to wrap guaze around the bottom to prevent dirt from creating clogs. I used these when I went on vacation and came back to well-watered plants. Be sure to use the size appropriate to the size of your plant's pot to avoid over-watering.
I originally got these globes to keep my plants alive while I went on vacation, and they did just that! I recommend watering your plants first, before placing the globes, so that they don't release all their water at once. They are a little bit tricky to fill, but I've found that if you hold it at an angle under the water source, they typically fill right up!
