FYI - this item is NOT eligible for return because of Amazon's policy. I wanted to return the item because the plug is too large to fit my phone with an Otterbox case. I reached out to the company to find out more about the policy and they were very responsive and willing to work with me. I ended up keeping the chargers for other family members because they work very well and I like the quality. The braiding seems pretty durable and will avoid the problem of ripping open like the rubber wires. Overall, extremely happy with the product and kudos to their customer service.

Bought to charge my phone in my car and not have 6ft of cable hanging down my dash that could potentially wrap around my accelerator pedal and drive me off a cliff. Seems like a nice cable. Feels decently built and looks “clean” as well. Although I go feel safer now, I cannot give it 5 stars for two reasons. One, I’ve only had it a coupe weeks and have only used it maybe 5 times so I don’t know how long it’ll actually last. Hopefully a while. Second, the description says it’s 9”. I put a measuring tape to it and it’s actually 9 1/8”. I mean I guess you’re getting more bang for you buck but, that’s 1/8” more cable dangerous dangling down my dash. Also, if you were to connect all 4 cables together, that’s an extra 1/2”! For this unforeseen safety hazard, I don’t feel comfortable to give it 5 stars. And also I guess because I don’t know how long it’ll last. Hope this helps anyone out there in their deciding weather or not this is the right cord to put their life on the line for charging capabilities needs. I did not have the luxury of this review to help in my decision. I hope you take this as seriously as I do and Godspeeds. (Someone needs to give him a ticket)

Update: The replacement cables arrived today, as promised by COSOOS. The customer service was outstanding. My highest compliments to a business that still understands the value of customer service after a sale!Update: COSOOS contacted me within an hour of my initial review and offered to send a replacement cable. I will update again when I receive the replacement. From a customer service standpoint, I couldn’t ask for better service. I am upgrading my stars based upon the customer service.Original Review: I purchased these cables to connect my iPhone 7 to the USB CarPlay jack in my car. One cable failed after just over one month, and a second cable now works only intermittently. The cables were not handled roughly, were infrequently used, and there is no apparent damage to the exterior of the cables; nothwithstanding, the data transmission capability of one of the cables is now nonexistent, and the data transmission capability of a second cable is unreliable, at best. As a result, I just ordered a 4” Amazon Basics lightning cable as a replacement. The price for the 4 pack of these cables drew me in, but it seems that there are significant quality control issues.
